SMART Moms

Supporting today�s mothers nourishes the next generation

The SMART Moms Program (Single Mothers Addressing Real Tasks) is an 8-session educational and professionally facilitated support group that allows mothers to share their wisdom and their dreams. The group covers topics such as vocational goals, parenting skills, life planning, and relaxation. Mothers are invited to bring children age three and older, who will be given supervised recreation time and assisted with homework if need be at the same time. A nutritious dinner is served to mothers and children as well. This group is held at different times of the year in Newburgh and Middletown.

There is a very small fee for this group and registration is required. SMART Moms is made possible with support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County and the Diane Finkelstein Fund for Families in Crisis.
